Retrain Health & Covid-19 (coronavirus)

At Retrain Health, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, inviting and safe environment for our Osteopathy, Massage and Strength & Conditioning patients and staff. In response to the recent Covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we have reviewed our hygiene policy and procedures at both our Byron Bay and Ballina Clinics. Below are details of some of the changes we will be implementing in the clinic. We will also be sharing some of our existing measures and tips, via our social media and blog, on our web page.
What We Are Doing
The team at Retrain Health have increased our focus and diligence regarding cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas of the clinic.
On top of our usual cleaning procedures, we are regularly applying a surface barrier protection that provides 30 days protection against any microbes and has been proven effective against covid-19.
Hand sanitiser will continue to be located at reception. It is now a condition of entry that hand sanitiser is used upon entry to the clinic.
We will only be using paper towels throughout the clinic for hand drying.
As a precaution, we will be asking patients if they have recently travelled overseas and if they are experiencing any signs or symptoms of cold or flu.
We will not be treating any patients who have travelled overseas within the last 14 days, been in contact with anyone who has been exposed to the Covid-19 virus or patients who are showing signs or symptoms of cold or flu.
How You Can Help
Please wash and/or sanitise your hands before your appointment; Hand sanitiser has been placed in reception for patient use.
If you are feeling unwell and are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms or signs, we ask that you please refrain from booking an appointment, and take extra care of yourself, seeking further medical advice if you are unsure.
If you have an upcoming appointment and are experiencing cold and flu symptoms, please call the clinic to cancel and reschedule your appointment. No cancellation fee will apply if you have to cancel your appointment.
If you have recently travelled overseas, please inform reception.
You will be required to complete a declaration outlining recent overseas travel and whether or not you have any cold/flu symptoms.
