Eliza Woodhouse

Dr Eliza Woodhouse (B.H.Sc / B.App.Sc) completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University, in Melbourne.


Eliza is passionate about helping patients understand their pain, working to reach their personal goals and live pain-free.


Eliza enjoys treating a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, and has a particular interest in lower back pain, neck pain, headaches and sporting injuries.


Eliza uses a variety of different osteopathic techniques, including dry needling, to aid her treatments.


During Eliza's studies, a special highlight, was combining two of her great passions, osteopathy and travel, by undertaking an internship at a multidisciplinary clinic in Canada and another at Retrain Health, in Byron Bay.


In addition to the internships in Canada and Byron Bay, Eliza also undertook a 5-month internship at a fast-paced clinic in Melbourne’s CBD.  


Eliza has 4 years of experience working as a sports trainer with football (AFL) and netball teams.


Eliza is excited to make Byron Bay her new home, and is looking forward to spending her spare time exploring new hiking spots, finding a local brunch cafe, trying her luck surfing (open to tips), and continuing to support her beloved Richmond Tigers. 

Christina Joseph

Dr Christina Joseph (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy), at Victoria University, in Melbourne.


Christina believes that to truly and effectively address an injury, it is important to find, understand and treat the root cause of the pain.


Christina uses several treatment styles in her approach, including massage, stretching, mobilisation, joint manipulation, as well as a selection of more gentle techniques, which are ideal for treating children, and supporting women during and after pregnancy.

Christina is also a qualified dry needling practitioner, has 6 years experience working as a sports trainer, has her Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Cert IV in Leadership and Management and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

In 2017, Christina was diagnosed with breast cancer. After time away from the clinic to focus on her health, she can now be found back in Byron, between treatment rooms, as well as behind the scences, putting her leadership and management skills to good use, helping to mentor and develop our talented team.

Nick Re

Practice principal Dr Nicholas Re (B.Sc, B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) is a fully qualified and registered osteopath, personal trainer (cert IV fitness) remedial massage therapist (Dip.Rem.Mass) and first aid trainer (cert IV Training & Assessment, Mental Health First Aid Certified Trainer).

Nick completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in physiology and pharmacology, in Melbourne. Then spent two years working in the UK and Middle East as a psychological profiler.


Following this, Nick returned to his studies, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine.


Nick has worked as a fitness, performance and injury consultant to a number of sporting teams including AFL, Basketball & Cirque Du Soleil.

Nick created Retrain Health to fill a need in the Northern Rivers for accessible, personalised, health care that caters to the needs of the local community.

Ady Anderson

Dr Ady Anderson (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in the heart of Melbourne.


Prior to studying osteopathy, Ady completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, at Deakin University. Ady has a passion for physical activity and strongly believes in using osteopathy to help empower people to get back to doing what they love. She achieves this by using a wide range of techniques, including mobilisation, soft tissue massage, joint manipulation and rehabilitation exercises.


Ady has a keen interest in treating a wide range of conditions, including pregnancy, sports related pain, shoulder conditions and acute pain.


Between studies, Ady spent 3 years in London, working at a top luxury fashion retailer and traveling throughout Europe, with Bordeaux being one of her favourite destinations. Her combined love of travel and physical exercise has seen her hike Mt Kilimanjaro and Everest base camp (twice).


Ady has experience working with local and VFL football teams and is a passionate Melbourne supporter. In her spare time, Ady likes to play basketball, football, bake, walk her dog and spend time in the great outdoors.

Daniel Corcoran

Dr Daniel Corcoran (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed his Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in Melbourne.


Daniel believes the integration of passive and active therapies, as well as education is required to facilitate a person's innate healing process.


Daniel is passionate about providing best-practice care and offering tools to manage various musculoskeletal and pain conditions.


Daniel has a long history in sports and fitness, in both competing and support roles. He is an ASCA L1 qualified strength and conditioning coach and sports trainer and is consistently updating his qualifications to best serve his patients.


Daniel has a particular interest in knee and lower back injuries as well as chronic pain conditions. In his spare time, Dan can be found walking the dog, lifting weights or training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.


Max Hobeck

Max is an experienced deep-tissue massage therapist. He specialises in releasing tension and relieving pain, allowing the body’s natural energies to flow freely.


He is fully qualified with a Diploma of Remedial Massage, a member of AMT and is HICAPs eligible for most private health funds.


A massage session with Max is tailored to the individual and can incorporate deep-tissue, sports, lymphatic, trigger point, pregnancy and myofacial, relaxation massage as well as Dry Needling .


Max’s diverse life-experience, being a former journalist, professional road-cyclist and yoga teacher, informs his practice of body-work, his understanding of the physical enabling him to read the language of the body.


His experience over the past decade includes working with NRL sides the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Brisbane Broncos and Auckland Warriors, the Argentina Pumas Rugby Team and the Australian Women’s Waterpolo Team.


Additionally Max’s years massaging in a clinical setting in conjunction with Osteopaths as well as his work at a number of health retreats and spas in northern NSW ensure you are in safe and strong hands.


Mikaela Ruetschi

Mikaela Ruetschi is a business management graduate with a major in environmental management and sustainability.


Mikaela has a passion for health and well-being recently completing a yoga teacher training course and is also currently studying an advanced anatomy course.

Understanding and managing health and well being is important to Mikaela and something she is especially interested in and passionate about.
