Nick Re

Practice principle Dr Nicholas Re (B.Sc, B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) is a fully qualified and registered osteopath, personal trainer (cert IV fitness) remedial massage therapist (Dip.Rem.Mass) and first aid trainer (cert IV Training & Assessment).

Nick completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in physiology and pharmacology in Melbourne and then spent two years working in the UK and Middle East as a psychological profiler.


Following this, Nick returned to his studies completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine.


Nick has a worked as a fitness, performance and injury consultant to a number of sporting teams including AFL, Basketball Cirque Du Soleil.

Nick created Retrain Health to fill a need in the Northern Rivers for accessible personalised health care that caters to the needs of the local community.

Ady Anderson

Dr Ady Anderson (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in the heart of Melbourne.


Prior to studying osteopathy, Ady completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, at Deakin University. Ady has a passion for physical activity and strongly believes in using osteopathy to help empower people to get back to doing what they love. She achieves this by using a wide range of techniques, including mobilisation, soft tissue massage, joint manipulation and rehabilitation exercises.


Ady has a keen interest in treating a wide range of conditions, including pregnancy, sports related pain, shoulder conditions and acute pain.


Between studies, Ady spent 3 years in London, working at a top luxury fashion retailer and traveling throughout Europe, with Bordeaux being one of her favourite destinations. Her combined love of travel and physical exercise has seen her hike Mt Kilimanjaro and Everest base camp (twice).


Ady has experience working with local and VFL football teams and is a passionate Melbourne supporter. In her spare time, Ady likes to play basketball, football, bake, walk her dog and spend time in the great outdoors.

Daniel Corcoran


Dr Daniel Corcoran (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed his Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in Melbourne.


Daniel believes the integration of passive and active therapies, as well as education is required to facilitate a person's innate healing process.


Daniel is passionate about providing best-practice care and offering tools to manage various musculoskeletal and pain conditions.


Daniel has a long history in sports and fitness, in both competing and support roles. He is an ASCA L1 qualified strength and conditioning coach and sports trainer and is consistently updating his qualifications to best serve his patients.


Daniel has a particular interest in knee and lower back injuries as well as chronic pain conditions. In his spare time, Dan can be found walking the dog, lifting weights or training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Christina Joseph

Dr Christina Joseph (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in Melbourne.


Christina believes that to truly and effectively address an injury, it is important to find and treat the root cause of the pain.


Christina uses several treatment styles in her approach, including massage, stretching, mobilisation and joint manipulation and/or utilise a selection of more gentle techniques, which are perfect for treating children and supporting women during and after pregnancy.


She is also a qualified dry needling practitioner and has 5 years experience working as a sports trainer for numerous soccer and football teams.

Shaun Coleman 

Dr Shaun Coleman (B.Clin.Sci, M.Ost.Med) completed his Bachelor of clinical science majoring in Osteopathic Studies and Human Structure & Function and a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University.

Shaun has a vast background in exercise and fitness and
 is a long standing member at the Byron Bay Golf Club, a long distance runner, social soccer player and was a volunteering Patrolling Member of the Byron Bay Surf Club for several years. He also enjoys snowboarding, skating and surfing.

Shaun has a keen interest in the treatment of sporting injuries, post-accident and surgical rehabilitation. 

Shaun is an approved therapist for WorkCover and RTA claims as well as DVA and EPC plans.

Shaun has been at Retrain Health since 2014 and prides himself on his caring nature and ability to educate and empower patients resulting in them returning to activity as quickly as possible.

Tim Morris 

Dr Timothy Morris (B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University in Melbourne.


Tim is an experienced hands-on practitioner, combining soft tissue massage techniques, joint manipulation, stretching and dry needling into a personalised treatment.


He places significant value on explaining the nature of pain, and empowers his patients to make lifestyle changes that will assist with recovery. This approach is suitable for all ages (5+) and can apply to any musculoskeletal complaint.


Tim has developed a special interest in the diagnosis, treatment and management of lower limb injuries in runners, dancers and weekend warriors, integrating exercise-based interventions and providing advice on training load management. He also takes a comprehensive approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of spinal pain.


Tim is also a qualified Clinical Pilates teacher and dry needling practitioner enabling him to provide a comprehensive treatment and management of your condition.

Remedial Massage Therapist

Kathryn Swords

Kathryn Swords is a Diploma Qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. She has been practising since 2010.


Initially, Kathryn travelled to the UK, Europe and Africa where she practiced in various places following the surf circuit from Cornwall to Taghazout, Morocco.


On returning to Australia Kathryn worked in an integrative health clinic where she expanded her skill set working alongside highly sort after remedial therapists and an acupuncturist.


Kathryn utilises a range of techniques to tailor treatments to each of her patients. Kathryn is experienced in many types of massage including Remedial, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Sports, Pregnancy, Trigger Point Therapy & Relaxation

Kathryn is a passionate therapist who really takes the time to listen to her patients needs and tailors their treatment accordingly.

Most appointments with Kathryn are Health fund eligible!

Max Hobeck

Max is an experienced deep-tissue massage therapist. He specialises in releasing tension and relieving pain, allowing the body’s natural energies to flow freely.


He is fully qualified with a Diploma of Remedial Massage, a member of AMT and is HICAPs eligible for most private health funds.


A massage session with Max is tailored to the individual and can incorporate deep-tissue, sports, lymphatic, trigger point, pregnancy and myofacial, relaxation massage as well as Dry Needling .


Max’s diverse life-experience, being a former journalist, professional road-cyclist and yoga teacher, informs his practice of body-work, his understanding of the physical enabling him to read the language of the body.


His experience over the past decade includes working with NRL sides the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Brisbane Broncos and Auckland Warriors, the Argentina Pumas Rugby Team and the Australian Women’s Waterpolo Team.


Additionally Max’s years massaging in a clinical setting in conjunction with Osteopaths as well as his work at a number of health retreats and spas in northern NSW ensure you are in safe and strong hands.

Mikaela Ruetschi

Mikaela Ruetschi is a business management graduate with a major in environmental management and sustainability.


Mikaela has a passion for health and well-being recently completing a yoga teacher training course and is also currently studying an advanced anatomy course.

Understanding and managing health and well being is important to Mikaela and something she is especially interested in and passionate about.
