Nick Re
Practice principal Dr Nicholas Re (B.Sc, B.Ap.Sc, M.Ost.Med) is a fully qualified and registered Osteopath, University Lecturer, Personal trainer (cert IV fitness) and First Aid/Mental Health First Aid trainer (cert IV Training & Assessment). Nick completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in physiology and pharmacology, in Melbourne. Then spent two years working in the UK and Middle East as a psychological profiler.
Following this, Nick returned to his studies, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine.
Nick has worked as a fitness, performance and injury consultant to a number of sporting teams including AFL, Basketball & Cirque Du Soleil.

Nick created Retrain Health to fill a need in the Northern Rivers for accessible, personalised, health care that caters to the needs of the local community.

Nick is currently the Practice Principal at Retrain Health. Is the CEO of Corporate Healthcare, and is employed by the NSW Ministry of Health on the Health Professional Council Authority.

In his spare time, Nick loves to play golf (badly), surf, eat good food and is a bit of a coffee nerd.

Mikaela Ruetschi
Mikaela is a fully qualified and registered Osteopath with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences.
Mikaela takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to treating and managing pain. She is committed to creating a warm and supportive environment with an emphasis on actively involving the person in their management and recovery. She endeavours to support her patients in understanding their diagnosis and its potential impact on the whole person, exploring how biomechanics interconnect with other psychosocial factors.

Her treatment approach is tailored to suit each person’s unique needs and preferences, drawing on a combination of direct and gentle osteopathic techniques which includes soft tissue massage, myofascial release, manipulation, visceral osteopathy, and craniosacral therapy.

Mikaela is also trained in Clinical Pilates, offering both small group and one-on-one sessions. Clinical Pilates can offer a many benefits, whether for injury recovery, strength building, or overall movement optimisation. Mikaela focuses on refining the fundamental Pilates principles to enhance body-mind awareness, alignment, and movement patterns, ensuring these benefits seamlessly translate into everyday life.​

Matteo Caprini
Matteo is a skilled physiotherapist originally from Italy, having completed his physiotherapy degree in Spain. His journey in the field includes valuable time at a post-surgery rehabilitation centre, focusing on knee, shoulder, and hip recoveries. After arriving in Australia Matteo completed his diploma in remedial massage and joins the team as a highly qualified massage practitioner.
With Matteo, you’re in the care of a physiotherapist who not only brings diverse international experience but also focuses on creating detailed treatment plans with a range of techniques. Each treatment may integrate techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point, and exercises and rehabilitation, aiming for a personalised approach to care.
An enthusiast of surfing, skating, and snowboarding, Matteo has a keen interest in treating sports injuries with massage therapy and exercise. His professional path has taken him from Spain to Portugal and Hawaii, culminating in the last two years in Australia.

Brooke Ferguson
Brooke is a qualified and registered Osteopath with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences.
​
Her practice focuses on collaborating with people to manage their pain or condition by addressing the root cause, providing insightful education, practical tools and movement education.
​
Brooke encourages balance within the body through evidence-based, manual therapy. She blends structural and cranial techniques such as joint mobilisation, muscle energy techniques, manipulation, soft tissue therapy and visceral manipulation.
​
Brooke welcomes people of all backgrounds seeking support for their pain, injury or performance.​

In her spare time, she enjoys deepening her practice with personal research and workshops! Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending her time rock climbing in the mountains!

Nathan Wilson
Nathan is a qualified Osteopath with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences.
​
After spending two years working in Canada, Nathan has recently returned to the Northern Rivers. During his time overseas, he treated elite-level athletes at a leading ski resort clinic, gaining extensive experience in both acute injury management and chronic pain rehabilitation.
​
Nathan welcomes people of all backgrounds and has a particular interest in helping those with chronic or recurring pain regain confidence and return to doing the things they love. He also enjoys working with individuals of all athletic abilities to enhance performance, strength, and movement efficiency.
​
His approach blends a range of hands-on techniques — including soft tissue release, joint mobilisation and manipulation, dry needling, and cupping — with individualised exercise rehabilitation and long-term movement planning to keep you performing at your best.
​
Outside the clinic, Nathan enjoys an active lifestyle, spending his spare time surfing, playing soccer and golf, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
*Nathan is awaiting his AHPRA registration to be reactivated in Australia. Until then he will not be working as an Osteopath. He is however doing some physical therapy work and exercise prescription. This is not health fund rebate eligible.

James Bradshaw
James is a Remedial Massage Therapist with years of clinical experience treating pain, tension, and movement-related discomfort. His approach is holistic and client-focused. He assesses the areas contributing to a person’s pain, considers their daily rhythms and movement habits, and tailors each session with evidence-based techniques that support meaningful change.
James integrates deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, muscle energy techniques, and simple guided breath cues to help clients settle and release. He adjusts pressure to individual needs and consistently checks in with the body throughout treatment to ensure the work is safe, effective, and well received.
His focus is clear. Relieve pain, restore mobility, and help clients feel more at home in their body. James provides targeted rehabilitation exercises to support progress between sessions so each person has the tools they need to move, train, and live with greater ease.
Clients describe James as thorough, intuitive, and highly effective. He listens deeply, identifies the source of an issue quickly, and delivers treatments that create noticeable and lasting results.
